When you know where to look, you’ll experience many adventures around Bohol. The province is much more than the white sand beaches and Chocolate Hills.
I have explored my home province since I was in my teens. Here are some of my favorite adventure activities you should not miss!
1. Hike Alicia Panoramic Park
There are not many mountains in Bohol. But if you are up for a trek or camp with a great view, this is the place to be.

2. Forest Hiking at Rajah Sikatuna Protected Landscape
The last standing secondary forest in Bohol is here. And a lot of indigenous animals call this place home. When you do their forest hiking, you might get to see some of them!
Like the Philippine macaques, flying lemurs, and interesting indigenous birds. This is a famous place for bird watchers because of its diverse bird population. It’s where you’ll see several indigenous trees too.

3. ATV at Chocolate Hills or Alicia Panoramic
It’s one of the best ways to sightsee if you are the type who loves to drive on rocky muddy roads. Can’t deny the trails can be challenging but it’s a much better way to sightsee the Chocolate Hills or Alicia Panoramic.

4. Stand-up Paddling at Loboc River
Instead of doing the Loboc floating restaurant, you can do standup paddling going to and fro the water source, and getting a glimpse of locals by the riverside.

5. Sunset Kayaking at Abatan River
You can either do mangrove kayaking or firefly kayaking during the night. Either way, it’s a fun and really educational experience!

8. Explore Cavepools
Because of Bohol’s unique type of landscape, there are places in Bohol that have cave pools. There are several in Dauis, which is really close to Panglao. But my favorite are the cave pools in Anda. They are also close to beaches so it’s a good way to hit both.

9. Scuba Dive
While I don’t scuba dive often, the scuba dive experience is really great in Bohol. It is a different experience from freediving since it’s a more prolonged and relaxing experience.
You can book a Bohol dive experience HERE.
10. One-night stay at Pamilacan Island
