Marilou Dumaluan Resort in Panglao is one of the oldest resorts in Bohol and is already a household name for locals.

I revisited the place recently and like other resorts during this pandemic, they have much fewer guests.
Maybe because of that or I haven’t been there for a long time that…
I was reminded of the resort’s charm.
Here are the top 3 things that I think kept them one of the first resort choices not just for locals but also for frequent visitors in Bohol.
๐ Long stretch of white sand beach

The resort is conveniently located in probably the longest stretch of beautiful white sand beach in Panglao Island.

This beach is one of my favorite places in Bohol for swimming with friends or family. ๐คฉ It provides a VIP seat when seeing the sunrise too!
๐ Water adventure

The resort is not just perfect for the relaxing scenery but also for its different water adventure activities.

We tried their banana boat ride and jet ski – it was FUN, I was just laughing all through drinking saltwater ๐ ! The big waves at that time made the ride more thrilling. ๐ฑ

Other activities you can do are kayaking (my favorite), swimming and snorkeling, and freediving several meters from the beach.
๐ variety of food choices
They serve a wide variety of classic Filipino dishes perfect for groups or family dinners.

The resort also serves breakfast by the pool. That helped us make the most of our time in the resort not having to go to the restaurant to eat ๐.
