More often the best of things are not always widely known. And sometimes, it’s for the best (because humans have a tendency to ruin good things #bitter 😜).
BUT sometimes, we should give that “best” the credit and popularity it deserves.
Just like Sicily Italian Cusine & Woodfire Pizza located at Dao, Dauis of Panglao Island. Which I can confidently say is one of the best restaurants in Bohol.
That’s kind of a melodramatic intro for a food blog 😂, but that’s seriously how I felt.😋
I loveee food generally but I never loved a food that deeply before (too much? 😂). Why haven’t I heard of the place sooner is my question when they already reached their 1 year anniversary this 2020.
I went to the restaurant to celebrate the 4th year anniversary of Bohol Bloggers Collective and I was excited to see everyone!
I was told the food at Sicily Italian Cusine & Woodfire Pizza is good but I did not really process that information prior 😆.
The restaurant was just beside the road but it was surprisingly tropical when tall relaxing greenery greeted us as we entered the place on our way to the dining area.
Aside from that, indigenous materials were used in their interiors with an interesting touch of different artworks like paintings, carvings, etc. As an artist and a human being 😆, I love that!
The best part of the visit is naturally the food! 🤤 We had a feast! After the meal (well, kind of in between), we had wine poured out while we caught up with each of the members of Bohol Bloggers Collective.
One of the most interesting parts of the restaurant is the Wood-fire Oven just beside the open-air dining area where you can see them cooking the different pizzas!
It is said that the place has the most authentic type of that kind of oven in the province.
