There’s irresistible charm to simplicity don’t you think? This is probably why Boholanos are crowding to this new place in Carmen every weekend.
Jagna is known for kalamay – Bohol’s most famous delicacy. The town though, is so much more than this sticky sweet snack.
I did not expect much because I saw several islets already and they are more or less the same. OR SO I THOUGHT. We crossed the river, walked for few minutes and two things surprised me…
One of my favorites among the many waterfalls in Bohol is Pahangog Twin Falls in the town of Dimiao. The place used to be very hard to access and when we got there we had the whole place to ourselves!
Their farms and rolling terrain, gives a lot of opportunity for exploration!
On a Sunday, we explored an island less than two hours of travel from Tagbilaran City… It was a day full of sun, sea and relaxation as it seems like we own the beach that day. 😍
We used to trek this beautiful town and the places I will be telling you now are our favourite places to stop by. This place is beautiful and is still one of my favourite places around Bohol!
I already explored many falls and springs around Bohol. And I could say this one is the hardest to access by far. Due to lack of information available, we went there unprepared for what was presented to us.
Imagine this: walking in a 500 meter boardwalk through the canopy of mangrove forest, their different roots intriguing, birds chirping at the background, in a wonderful morning.
That’s what we saw after breaking camp. Everything was perfect.
It’s probably more mystical than magical. But magical nonetheless.
I love kayaking and upon knowing about Kayakasia Philippines’ offerings at Abatan river Bohol, I know I must try it out.
